Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 July 2026

The short version. Trap Devil has no accounts, no logins and no servers of ours. Your level progress is saved on your phone only. The one thing that does collect data is the advertising built into the game, which is run by Google AdMob.

This policy explains what information the mobile game Trap Devil ("the game", "we") handles. By installing and playing the game, you agree to this policy.

What stays on your device

The game saves the following locally on your phone, and never sends it to us:

  • Which levels you have unlocked and completed
  • Your best (lowest) death count per level, used for medals
  • Your total death count
  • Your Sound and Music on/off settings

This data is removed when you uninstall the game, or immediately when you use Settings → Reset Progress inside the game.

What our advertising partner collects

Trap Devil is free and is paid for by ads, which are served by Google AdMob. To show and measure those ads, Google and its partners may collect and process:

DataWhy
Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier)To serve ads and limit how often you see the same one
Ad interaction data (ads shown, viewed, tapped)To measure ad performance
Approximate location, derived from your IP addressTo serve ads relevant to your country or region
Device informationTo deliver ads that work on your device

We do not receive this information about you individually. We only see aggregate reports, such as how many ads were shown in total. All of it is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

Your choices about ads

  • Ads in the game are either rewarded (you choose to watch one to skip a level or refill lives) or occasional full-screen ads shown between levels.
  • If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, the game shows you a consent form the first time you play, where you can choose whether ads are personalised.
  • You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads entirely, at any time in your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads.

Google explains its own handling of this data in the Google Privacy Policy and in how AdMob uses data.

What we never do

  • We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any account.
  • We do not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise GPS location.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • There is no chat, messaging or user-to-user interaction in the game.

Children

Trap Devil is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please get in touch and we will act on it.

Deleting your data

Because nothing is stored on our servers, there is no account for us to delete. To remove everything the game has saved, uninstall it or use Settings → Reset Progress. To reset the identifier used for advertising, use your device's Google Ads settings described above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will change with it. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised policy.
